The Conscious Liberation Method

A transformative journey from external fixation to embodied awareness — reclaiming the peace that has always been yours.

"Beyond success and failure, there you are — free."

The Modern Affliction

External Fixation

From the moment of birth, our attention-awareness becomes progressively fixated outside ourselves. We are taught to seek validation, fulfillment, and identity in the external world — through achievement, possessions, and the approval of others.

This external fixation becomes so complete that we no longer suspect there's another way of being. We become strangers to ourselves, experiencing life as a series of problems to solve rather than a mystery to embody.

Perceptual Distortion

The birth trauma—dramatic or subtle—imprints us with a lens of threat: Life is hostile; it has hurt us and could do so again; we are separate; scarcity is the law. This primal distortion shapes everything that follows—how we love, how we work, even how we breathe.

We grasp at happiness, yet it remains elusive. We intellectualize rather than embody. We mistake thinking for being. We've become so entrenched in mind that we've forgotten how to sense, to feel, to be.

"People complain that they feel abandoned by life, or by God, or love even. But in fact, it's they themselves who have abandoned life by abandoning themselves."

The Path Back to Yourself

The Conscious Liberation Method is not a philosophical concept or intellectual exercise. It's a radical, experiential journey from the world of distractions to embodied awareness—a return to what you've always been.

1

Understanding

Begin by comprehending the difference between mind and being, between thinking and sensing. Recognize how your attention has been captured and held externally, and how this creates suffering.

2

Sensing

Learn to release your awareness from external distractions and place it on your body—your hand, your foot, your breath. Sensing is the gateway to being, the bridge from mind to presence.

3

Being

Discover presence—not as an idea or concept, but as a lived experience. From this state of being, you recognize yourself as the beingness of you, that ongoing felt experience of living flesh.

4

Awareness

From being, take one more step to pure awareness—that which is aware. When awareness, no longer fixated through mind and body externally, begins to cognize itself, liberation occurs.

The Journey is From:

The World → Sensing → Being → Awareness

The Philosophical Foundation

The YouVolve Manifesto

The first pillar of the Conscious Liberation Method, "The YouVolve Manifesto" explains the philosophy, mission, and path to personal and collective liberation. It outlines how community-based neuroplasticity challenges, trauma healing, and sovereignty reclamation form the foundation of conscious evolution.

The Inner Path

The second pillar, "The Inner Path" serves as a guide for those weary of pursuing happiness that never lasts. It blends parables, neuroscience, and raw insight to guide you inward, beyond the illusion of external fixes to the peace that has always been yours.

"Awareness is not a function of anything. It's a standalone fact, in the same way that light is a standalone fact. And awareness can be aware of itself. In fact, only awareness is aware."

About Your Guide

Bassam Younes

Bassam Younes

For over 40 years, I've been exploring the frontiers of consciousness through daily meditation practice, breathwork, and the study of both Eastern and Western traditions.

As a certified Rebirthing Breathwork therapist trained by Leonard Orr (the father of modern breathwork), I've guided thousands of individuals through the journey from external fixation to embodied awareness.

My own journey began as a child of the Lebanese civil war, navigating trauma, cross-cultural displacement, and the search for meaning. Through these experiences, I discovered that true liberation comes not from escaping our wounds, but from turning toward them with awareness.

The Conscious Liberation Method is the culmination of my life's work—a practical, embodied approach to awakening that bridges ancient wisdom with modern understanding of the nervous system and neuroplasticity.

Common Questions

How is this different from traditional meditation?

Traditional meditation often focuses primarily on techniques to calm or concentrate the mind. The Conscious Liberation Method integrates meditation as one element of a more comprehensive approach that includes embodied sensing, rebirthing breathwork, and awareness practices. Rather than treating meditation as a separate activity, we incorporate presence into everyday life, turning ordinary moments into opportunities for liberation.

Do I need prior experience with meditation or breathwork?

No prior experience is necessary. The method is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're completely new to these practices or have decades of experience, the approach is accessible and adaptable. Many find that the method helps them integrate and deepen insights from previous practices they may have struggled to embody in daily life.

How long does it take to experience results?

Many people report significant shifts in awareness after their first rebirthing breathwork session or within the first week of consistent practice. The science of neuroplasticity shows that 21 days of consistent practice can begin to rewire neural pathways that have been fixed in place for decades. That said, this work isn't about quick fixes or temporary states—it's about a fundamental shift in how you experience yourself and the world that continues to deepen over time.

Is this approach religious or spiritual?

The Conscious Liberation Method is neither religious nor anti-religious. It's a practical approach to human consciousness that people of all faiths (or no faith) can benefit from. The method focuses on direct experience rather than belief. While it acknowledges the spiritual dimension of human experience, it approaches this through the lens of embodied awareness rather than dogma or doctrine. The practices are compatible with any authentic spiritual path while requiring no specific spiritual orientation.

Why is community important in this work?

For thousands of years, humans evolved through collective practice. Our brains are wired for co-regulation and learning through mirroring. When you witness someone else's breakthrough, neurons in your own brain fire in sympathy. Through the 21-Day Challenges and group experiences, we create a field of shared intention that accelerates transformation. We don't "fix" each other—we inspire by example, creating a safe container for each person's unique unfolding.

Transformation Stories

For the first time in twenty years, I feel like my body belongs to me again. Through the sensing practices and breathwork sessions, I've reconnected with a part of myself I had forgotten existed. I'm no longer constantly seeking validation or approval from others. I simply am, and that is enough. The change in my relationship with my children has been profound—they notice that I'm really present with them, not just physically there but mentally somewhere else.

21-Day Challenge Participant

As a CEO, I've tried every productivity hack and mindfulness app out there. Nothing has impacted my leadership like this method. I used to think stress and pressure were just the cost of success. Now I understand that my effectiveness actually comes from a place of centered awareness, not frantic activity. My team has noticed the difference—I listen better, make clearer decisions, and create a calmer atmosphere even in crisis situations. This isn't just another tool in my toolkit; it's a complete reorientation to how I show up in business and life.
